What is a reputation source?
A reputation source is a URL where users have left reviews about your company, product, or service. It is essentially a page where users can read reviews or experiences shared by others. The source page may contain a single review or multiple reviews.
How can I find a review source?
When you sign up on our platform, you'll be asked to provide your company's details, such as the company name and website. You will then need to verify domain ownership. Once the domain is verified, we will suggest various review sources we find about your company. We'll provide a list of possible review sources, and you can select the ones you prefer after careful consideration. The selected reviews will then be published on your reputation page.
What is a reputation page?
It is a page which lists all reputation sources. This is a simple link list where your potential customers/clients can find various reputation sources. They can click on individual source page and read reviews or explore more.
What is the difference between a reputation page and a reputation source?
A reputation source is a link where single or multiple reviews about your company, product, or service are published. When these reputation sources are curated and displayed on a single page, that page is referred to as a reputation page.
Is this really a free service?
Yes, you don't have to pay any fees for curating reputation sources. There are no fees associated with our services at all.
Is company verification required and necessary?
Yes, it is necessary. Verification is the only way we can ensure you are the real owner of the company and its associated domain. We offer multiple methods to verify your company or domain ownership.
Why do I need a dedicated reputation page when my potential clients can directly search on Google?
There are several reasons to create a dedicated reputation page:
- You can share a single link on your social media or website to inform clients about various review sources.
- A dedicated page is clutter-free and only displays your carefully selected review or reputation sources.
- No advertising on the page so when your potential customer search on Google they may likely to jump to any of your competitors but not the case with iLib.
- It takes only 5–10 minutes to create a dedicated page for your company. We continuously monitor for new review or reputation sources and alert you to include them. We also notify you to remove broken links.
- Additional free tools, such as brand asset kits, awards pages, and feedback redirection pages, are available to help you improve your reputation effectively.
I added my company and received irrelevant review/reputation source suggestions.
This can happen if your company is not well-known or has a generic name, making it difficult to find exact review pages. In such cases, we recommend manually adding all the review pages you are aware of. We will still monitor those pages once they are published.
How many review/reputation sources should I select?
You can select as many as you like. Typically, we suggest atleast 5 to upto 50-60 reputation sources, depending on how popular your company is. You can also highlight the ones that are likely to offer the most value.
How many reputation pages can I create for my company?
We allow only one reputation page per unique company, product, or business.
Do you allow posting or collecting reviews?
We do not directly post or collect reviews on behalf of your company. There are plenty of platforms that offer such services depending on your business. Our platform allows you to curate all those links and keep track of them.
Can the platform re-suggest reputation sources?
We do not immediately offer new suggestions. However, after you publish your reputation page for the first time, a button to re-suggest resources will appear after several weeks.
How many companies can I add or curate reviews for?
We have set a soft limit of 5 companies per account. If you'd like to add more companies, please reach out to us with your user ID, and we can allocate additional slots.
My company offers multiple products. Can I curate reviews for each of them?
Currently, we allow sub-products with the same domain name. You can add multiple products based on the domain you have verified. To enable this feature, please contact us, as we are still testing it.
I am unable to verify my company using the DNS or file upload method. What are my options?
Please send us an email from the domain you want to verify. For example, if your domain is mycompany.com, you should email us from an address like user@mycompany.com, where mycompany.com is the domain you wish to verify.
